New version of the CarryMap app for mobile devices

A new version of the CarryMap app for mobile devices released. Find out what updates have been implemented.

The following changes have been implemented in the new CarryMap 5.7.1:

Switching to own device ID

The new device identifier (device ID) was created according to the technical requirements of the app stores (Google Play, etc.) and in order to enhance the protection of user data in the CarryMap app. It differs from the system device identifier, which was used in previous versions of the application.

This change will affect users of the CarryMap app on the Android platform who have maps protected by device ID and created in CarryMap Builder before the release of CarryMap version 5.7.1, in case of updating the CarryMap application to version 5.7.1. A new device identifier will be created in the application when updating the CarryMap application. To access the maps in the updated CarryMap mobile app, you will need to update these maps.

For detailed instructions on updating the map, see the article "Switching to own device ID in CarryMap app for Android".
